Are government & service taxes included in the rates?
Yes – these taxes are included in all the prices here. The current government tax is 10% & the service tax is 8%. Please note that these taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
What is SIC Tour?
This is a common term used in the travel industry which stands for seat in a coach. If you are joining a SIC day tour in a major city like Kuala Lumpur or Penang, there is a chance that you will have a group of people in the same coach from all walks of life and the group size can vary. However, an SIC tour in Borneo entails a smaller group as it is a specialized program.
Is a tour guide provided for a private tour?
A tour guide will be provided with 8 or more passengers. Otherwise, a driver guide will suffice. All our driver guides are well trained and knowledgeable.
What about foreign speaking guides?
French, Italian, Spanish & Russian speaking guides are available at a surcharge. Other available foreign speaking guides include Japanese, Mandarin & Indonesian. If you need a different language, please let us know.
What about documentation?
Once your tour package is confirmed, you will receive all documentation via email. The originals will be handed over to you on arrival. We also provide literature with information on the destinations that you are visiting.
Can you offer tailor made tours?
Yes – we certainly can offer these tours. In fact, we are specialized in this field. Our consultants are well traveled around
Malaysia and you will get the best advice possible.
What is child fare & policy?
The child fare is only applicable to child under 12 years old during the time of travel.
Some hotels allow one child to stay free with the parents in existing bedding. i.e. no extra bed will be provided. Just the same for breakfast, the child can eat buffet breakfast for free at some hotels. Otherwise, the child will get a 50 % discount on the adult rates.
A discount is offered to child / children travelling with 2 adults in all our tour packages. Please ask for child fare in the inquiry box. Child over 12 years old is considered an adult & will be charged adult price.
Can we request for early check in or late check out?
This is all subject to availability. Most hotels will not commit anything on early check in or late check out regardless.
However, a guaranteed early checks in & late check out can be arranged by paying an extra night charge.
Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
There are only a few tours that are full board basis in remote places like in Taman Negara & the overnight tours in Borneo. Otherwise, it is just breakfast at the hotel. In most destinations, you can find a wide variety of cuisines/restaurants to cater for your needs.
Please indicate the full details of the dietary requirement when you book so that we can request for this arrangement with the hotel / restaurants/suppliers.
Is travel insurance included in the tour?
No – you are advised to get your own coverage from your local agent / insurance company.
How do we identify your driver / representative at the airport?
Look out for our signage displaying your name and our logo at the arrival hall.
You will be given our emergency contact number, which you should call if you are unable to locate our driver/representative.
Please do not entertain anyone at the airport who is willing to assist you with a transport to the hotel. We will not be responsible for all the charges incurred which is not part of the transfer booked through our company.
How do we book & pay?
Once you have decided on the tour program, we will need all your details like travel dates, names, international flight details and other relevant information. In general, a deposit is required followed by the balance payment prior your arrival. Payment by credit card or bank transfer is accepted. See terms & conditions.
Is credit card payment secure?
Once booking is confirmed, you will receive a credit card authorization form for you to complete and you can email to us. All credit card information received will be treated as strictly private & confidential – This is our guarantee.
Can we cancel our tour after deposit?
An administrative fee will be charged less than refund of the deposit. This is usually indicated in our proposal. However, in cases where a non-refundable deposit is required, we will not be able to do so. See terms & conditions.
Can we amend our tour after deposit?
Yes – tours can be amended and charges may incur which you will be informed. Once full payment is received, we will exercise our discretion if any amendment can be done.
Can we get a refund for not using some of the services we booked?
All unutilized services including air ticket, hotel & meals, are not refundable or transferable.
What are your working hours?
We open from 9.00 am. – 6.00 pm. (Mon-Fri), and we are closed on local public holidays.
Can I chat with our consultant?
Yes, please send us an inquiry with your contact details. Stating that you wish to have a chat or phone conversation.
Does Malaysia has a arrival card?
Yes, since January 2024. Go to https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main?registerMain and fill in the arrival form.
